CAT 349D is suitable for buyers who need a large CAT excavator for heavy loading, quarry support and high-output earthmoving, but want lower purchase pressure than CAT 349D2L or newer high-spec CAT 349 machines. It is an older heavy-work choice, so engine, hydraulics, undercarriage, structure and working video must be checked carefully. CAT 349D is for buyers who need large excavator production but do not want the higher purchase pressure of CAT 349D2L or newer high-spec CAT 349 machines. It can still be a practical heavy-work option when the machine condition is strong and the buyer accepts older-machine inspection. CAT 349D is not only an old machine.
